Fashion Show

This student enjoys creating beautiful head bands.  We gave her a book about creating costumes to see if this would encourage her to become even more creative.

Students are looking at the book together, and getting ideas for costumes.

Many students became interested and began to make their own costumes.
"Look at my earrings."

The girls decided they wanted to show off their costumes by putting on a fashion show.

The boys got involved by creating a robot costume, and by building a stage for the fashion show.

Many students created tickets for the show, a show program and an invitation for Ms. McGrory.

Art Studio

Providing students with a variety of interesting art materials and the freedom to explore helps them to develop their creativity.

Following instructions in a book they found at the reading centre, these students are creating a variety of different cookies.

These students were very proud to share their creations during our sharing time that we have each day.

Cat puppets
