A Busy Day in Kindergarten

The students have enjoyed singing "The Five Little Ducks" as a class. The children have been using ducks in the water table to act the song out. One student decided to use the metre stick to create a "bridge" for the little ducks.

Students enjoyed counting the ducks and making up their own songs about ducks.

Mrs. DeYoung shared an interesting idea with our class today.  We stretched elastics across foam trays that had a piece of paper inside.  Students painted the elastics, and then plucked the elastic, spraying paint across their paper (AND MRS.KELLY'S FACE).  This allowed for some interesting colour mixing.

Solving problems together and sharing playdough.

Using blocks to create a bridge.
