| After collecting snails, the students brainstormed a list of things they thought the snails would need in order to survive. Children drew pictures and said that they would need "eggs, leaves, flowers, and roots". |

| We then researched on the internet to find out if we were correct. |

| Students were invited to create a new list to demonstrate what we learned from our research. We found out that snails need air to breathe and that the like to eat salad vegetables. We also learned that they need to be kept moist. |
We then shared this new information with the class.
